SJX Express · Freight brokerage
Expedited freight covers time-critical shipments that need faster, more direct transportation than a standard truckload or LTL move. As a freight broker, SJX Corporation, operating as SJX Express, coordinates these requests with carriers. Availability, price and transit time depend on the route, the shipment and the timing. We do not promise delivery within a set number of hours.
Tell us what is moving, where it is going and when it has to arrive. We will review what is possible and explain the options before you commit.

Time-critical freight is any shipment where a late arrival has a real cost, such as a stopped production line, a missed installation date or an event deadline.
The earlier you contact us, the more options there usually are.
For many urgent moves, ground transportation is the practical choice. We can ask carriers whether faster pickup or shorter transit is available for your lane.
Availability depends on the carriers on your route, and rates are quoted per request.
A dedicated vehicle carries only your freight, which can reduce handling and stops. Vehicle types, such as cargo vans, straight trucks or tractor-trailers, depend on what carriers have available on your route.
Dedicated vehicle and direct-drive options can be arranged through our carrier network, subject to route, shipment requirements and carrier availability. SJX is the freight brokerage and logistics coordinator and does not own the vehicles.
Direct drive means the vehicle goes straight from pickup to delivery without transferring the freight. Direct-drive expedited transportation can be arranged through carriers, subject to route and carrier availability, and it can shorten transit and limit handling.
It is not available on every lane, and it often costs more than shared or scheduled service.
We arrange Canada–USA expedited freight through carriers. Urgent shipments between Canada and the United States need complete paperwork and a realistic allowance for border processing, which can add delay. Tell us early if your freight is crossing the border.
Customs brokerage should be arranged with an appropriately authorized provider. See our cross-border freight page.
For an emergency, request a quote, mark it urgent and give your deadline. Contact details are on our contact page.
Send the written request as well, because we need the shipment details to check availability.
On-board courier is for small, high-priority items that travel with a courier on a commercial flight. Expedited freight is for larger or heavier shipments that move by road or another carrier service.
See on-board courier for details. If you are unsure, send the request and we will help you compare.
Sometimes a faster move is possible, but we do not promise delivery within 24 hours or any set time. It depends on the carrier, the distance and the shipment.
No. Some urgent shipments can move on a faster scheduled service. We can compare options once we know the shipment and the deadline.
Pickup and delivery locations, weight, dimensions, commodity, required delivery time, any equipment needs and a contact for each end.
